Success comes in all shapes and sizes. What may seem successful to some will not be the same for others. I have broken Success down to 4 key areas. To be successful in any area, you must posses these 4 attributes.

Hello, it’s Brett Campbell here and in today’s training I want to talk to you about the topic of success; and how you can be far more successful in any area of your life.

In this video, I would just like to clarify what success actually means and where I am coming from. Success does not necessarily mean having a lot of money, having lots of friends, or having lots of likes on Facebook and Instagram, that’s not what success is.

Success is that thing that when you look at someone, and you can just tell that they are successful in what they are doing. You know what a really successful parent looks like when you see them with their children and they are in the zone, you can see that they are a success at what they are currently doing. So we are not just trying to pin point success in one particular area and that if you have that, then you are successful.

For example, there are lot of people out there with millions of dollars who I would not classify as a success, so we are going to look at this from many different angles or many different modalities that make up your life.

The 10X Achievement Academy is all about creating and building a successful, meaningful and purposeful life.

So let’s get stuck into what ‘the four’ are. Now the first thing you need to look at is your attitude.

Your attitude in the way you approach certain situations.

Your attitude in the way that you handle objections.

Your attitude in the way you look at things in life.

I talked about in previous trainings: “Do you look at the cup half empty or do you look at the cup half full?” So your attitude plays a very, very big part in your overall success strategy.

The second strategy is belief.

You need to have the belief from deep inside, that you can one hundred percent, achieve what it is what you want to achieve. For example, I am standing here filming these videos, I believe in the message that I have to share with this world, so I am not going to let other things stop me. I am not going to let the fact that “oh no, what if it is not edited properly” or “what if someone leaves me a bad comment below in YouTube”. I can get past it because I have the belief deep inside me that I can achieve and I will be successful. But more importantly, I believe that I have a message to share with the world and I challenge you. If you have a message to share with the world, do you believe it? Do you believe that it’s true? Right in the core, right in the centre of it all and if you haven’t started or you are not out there sharing your message there are probably a couple of reasons why, number one is you don’t believe in yourself. You know I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but belief just doesn’t come to your front door and knock on to your front door and say: “Hey I am here!” You need to start programming your mind, you need to have the right attitude, and you need to have the right mindset to be able to start forming the belief.

There are a lot of people who tackle projects, who take on something in their life and they don’t know how to get there, and that’s fine. You don’t need to know how to get there, you just need to believe that at the end of the day, when it’s all said and done, you’ll get to your end desire.

The third component that we want to look at is ‘congruent’.

Are you being congruent with your values in life? So if I was to ask you the question, ‘what are your highest values in your life?’, and if you were to reply to me: ‘Family is right at the top.’ Generally for a lot of people, family is the highest in the value system. And then I ask the following question: ‘Well, how much time and energy are you spending in the family area? When was the last time you called your mother? When was the last time you went out on a date with your partner? When was the last time you spent quality time with your children?’

So you need to be congruent with your values. So if you believe family is one of your highest values, you better be sure that your actions, your attitude, and your belief is coming straight behind that. You need to lead by example. If you are not living in congruency with your values, then you are going to be off on the garden path and you going to be struggling to find your way back, you going to be struggling to find your way back to your purpose why are you here, why are you on this planet, because you need to be congruent and a little exercise I want you to do is to list, what are your top five values in life.

What are they? Is it family? Is it money? Is it business? Is it health? A lot of people have health high up on their values list. And they are training may be once a week, if that. So be congruent, are you being congruent? If you were to tell me your highest value, would I be able to know that by just hanging out with you for a day? Would that emanate that particular value set? So anyone who is living congruent with their values and it is clear to see that is what they value and that is where they put the time, the energy, and the resources into. So be congruent.

And the fourth component to achieving success is the desire.

You must have the desire, the desire deep inside you that gets you up in the morning, the desire that’s going to push you through when times get tough, because it’s not going to be easy. It’s not, if it were easy than everyone else would be doing it. Now, you heard all these sayings that it may not be easy but it would be worth it. Think about that, it may not be that easy, but it would be worth it. Imagine having what it is you want right now. Imagine having a better home, a better car, better relationships, more money, freedom, more time; what would your life look like if you had that available to you?

So just a quick recap, you need to look at your attitude, the way you see the world, the way you see circumstances and the way you handle yourself. The next component is your belief, you must believe, believe in what you are doing. Then of course being congruent with all of that. Being congruent with the values in life in the way you want to be successful. Some people don’t want to have a lot of money and that’s totally cool, they may want to spend more time with their family, they may just be content, with what they currently have and don’t aspire to have more.

Imagine making what you already have even better. And that’s the first place to start, it’s not about wanting more stuff and buying new things and it’s about making what you currently have, work for you. So don’t go out and find new best friends, make the relationship with your friends even tighter. And the fourth component that you must have to be successful, is the desire, the desire that’s going to push you through when the times are tough, the desire that’s going to get you up out of your seat, head off to the gym. The desire that’s going to get you out of your seat and into the office and work whatever hours you have to work to get whatever it is you need to get done.

I really hope you enjoyed this video.

I’m Brett Campbell, until the next time I want you to go out there live with intention, love with passion and never give up on your dreams.
