Welcome to Episode 18 of Brett Campbell’s #AllOrNothing. This is my new daily entrepreneurship documentary series where you will get an inside look into my life and my entrepreneurial journey.
In 2017 I am really stepping up my content game and in doing so I will show you exactly what I do each day to grow my business and help my clients grow their’s.
Today’s vlog is jam packed, there’s a lot going on in the HQ including designing a new website for the Campbell Media Group, Scott Harris drops in for a meeting and I am putting out fires all day.
Some interesting topics come up for my coaching clients as well. I talk about planning for future products when creating promotional content and filming material.
I also give one of my clients advice on being prepared every time you are presenting, whether it be from stage or in a sales meeting. Preparation is key because it could be the difference in taking someone to the next step through your funnel.
One of the things that can happen a lot in business, because we love to help people, we sometimes say ‘yes’ too often which can end up being detrimental to our own business.
Today I share my take of being a ‘yes man’ too much and how to avoid getting stuck in the trap of helping too many people that you probably shouldn’t at that point in time.
The final topic that comes up today is an interesting one and it’s something that I see quite often, is you may come across a database of emails or purchase a list from someone.
There is the wrong way and the right way to approach this new email list and when approached in the wrong way you can end up burning bridges with your new contacts.
I share how you can capitalise on a new list, without becoming ‘spammy’.
