Welcome to Episode 67 of Brett Campbell’s #AllOrNothing. This is my daily entrepreneurship documentary series where you will get an inside look into my life and my entrepreneurial journey. I will show you exactly what I do each day to grow my business and help my clients grow their’s.
In today’s episode I share the biggest mistake most people make when they want to start advertising on facebook. If you have a Facebook page then you would have definitely seen the big blue ‘boost post’ button that appears on all of your Facebook posts. As Admiral Akbar would say “It’s a trap!”
Boosting your posts is, 9/10 times, NOT the best type of Facebook ad that you want to use if you are trying to get people to click on your ads. This is simply the easiest way for Facebook to blast your ad out to more people, meaning you have a WAY less targeted audience for the content you are putting out. In the vlog I give you a breakdown of some of the other ways you can use ads and for what purpose.
At the end of the day I have a great conversation with a new client during an onboarding session. I don’t usually record these sessions however, what he said was right on point with one of the most common issues I hear from almost everyone I meet with who is looking for help with social media, and that is the amount of Fake Experts out in the market place. We are in a time when you need to be super careful who you trust with your money. Do you really know the results that the person you’re dealing with has gotten? Or are you blindly trusting what they say they can do? Food for thought.
